Stanford University Center for Marfan Syndrome and Re-

Related Aortic Disorders, is offering a one-day Symposium that will feature David H. Liang, MD, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of The Stanford University Center for Marfan Syndrome and Related Aortic Disorders; Drs. Lawrence Rinsky and Rebecca Bernard, pediatric specialists from Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford; Pediatric Ophthalmologist, Dr. Denise Satterfield from Sacramento; and volunteer Chapter members and teens.


You will learn about Marfan syndrome and its effects on the pediatric patient and his/her family, with emphasis on the child’s cardiovascular and skeletal systems, and vision.


Please join us and have your questions answered by the medical experts and your peers. Children and teens (ages 5 to 18) are welcome to attend and participate in supervised activities.
