A photographer was on hand to take pictures for an article that will be appearing in a local newspaper. He was very impressed with Jane and the TCSV club banner that we bring to such events. We also had our "measuring stick" on hand to measure prospect's height to make sure they were tall enough to get a free beverage of their choice.
There was a good crowd of people milling around Santana Row and our banner and Miss Tall International attracted a lot of attention. At one point the musicians performing in the square let Bob III and Jane take the stage and announce our presence.
The event was a huge success as we collected several prospect forms. Even better, Johnny, who works in Santana Row, had found our new web site and called the membership number of 408-506-0789. He came by and was so impressed he decided to join TCSV. Welcome to our newest member!
Because this event was so successful, we intend to go back to Santana Row and to hold a monthly Meet Us event at locations where there are a large number of people so that we can recruit amongst those around us in addition to inviting prospects.
